About Us

We’re Colin and Dylan, two lifelong friends from the Netherlands with a shared love for fantasy, gaming, and storytelling.

Our friendship started back in the days of Pokémon Yellow on the Gameboy Color, before the Lord of the Rings movies hit cinemas, and when the PlayStation 1 was still “next-gen. ”From fighting imaginary orcs in the woods as kids to messy LAN parties with too much snacks and too little sunshine during our teens, we’ve always had our heads in other realms. These days, we both live with our girlfriends and are launching our newest adventure together: Realm of Dice.

Dylan came up with the idea of starting a TTRPG webshop to share his passion and lifelong love for the genre. He didn’t want to do it alone, so he asked Colin to join him.

That’s how Realm of Dice was born: from friendship, creativity, and a shared obsession with fantasy. We combine our skills: Dylan is an IT professional and built the website, while Colin, with a background in mechanical engineering and production planning, handles inventory and 3D model design. Everything else? We tackle together.

Most dice shops are just that: shops. But we’re players first. That means every product we stock is something we’d love to use ourselves, and probably already have.

I live in Apeldoorn, where I share my life with my girlfriend and our adorable guinea pigs. While Colin brings the creative spark, I've hosted countless adventures and seen the magic happen around the table. Now, my dream is to build a welcoming marketplace and community where every RPG fan can uncover the treasures they’ve been questing for.

Completely random Q&A

Colin: Impulsive, chaotic and very unpredictable, but always fun to watch his next step

Dylan: The natural 1 would say he loves me for always checking in on him

Colin: I would love to say Middle-Earth, but I'll probably be dead in minutes. So let's stick with Pokémon

Dylan: Pokémon, Middle-Earth, or enjoy my peaceful life in animal Crossing

Colin: The Littleroot town soundtrack of Pokémon Emerald, so peaceful

Dylan: Claire Obscure, Metal Gear Rising, and the always chaotic Giratina Theme

Colin: Frodo, I often tend suffer of the main character syndrome

Dylan: Sam, the silent support who loves po-ta-toeees

Colin:

  • Favourite to use in game: Leviathan axe of God of War. Wielding such power in the hands of Kratos really makes you feel like a true God of War.
  • Favourite concept: A Witcher. Mutating and enchanting a human with a slim chance of surviving to create a magical monster slayer, a weapon in humanoid form.

Dylan: Deck of many more things: who doesn't love a little touch of chaotic energy

Colin: My ADHD makes me a chaotic and energetic person, which makes people think I'm an extrovert. But deep down I really need my rest after a social event and I would consider myself an introvert

Dylan: A introvert who sometimes gets possessed by a goblin when he is with the right group of friends

Colin: 100% Dylan

Dylan: Colin for sure

Colin: I don't necessarily need a full battle map with props (although that does add a little bit of dynamic to the table). But I prefer to atleast play with a grid to visualize the position of everything better

Dylan: Full battle map, because who doesn't love to paint their minis? (I don’t)

Colin: Yes

Dylan: Yes

Colin: A Bard, I love socializing, singing, bamboozling people and just have a laugh

Dylan: A Ranger, wants to live his life in peace and quiet with an animal companion at his side (cats)

Colin: Roman Bellic - Nico let's go bowling! No, just kidding. My favourite is Arthur Morgan (but with high honour). An incredibly well written character and played amazingly by Roger Clark

Dylan: Sir Artorias & Sif - Great story, hard boss, many deaths. Still very cool
